The sun is coming!

Here in Santa Barbara, we're pretty used to warm weather. Lounging under the crisp, yet totally damaging sun and taking our morning jog on the beach are completely normal, even on days where the temperature is climbing faster than you ever thought possible. As we enter March, with our fair share of rainy days, we're constantly reminded that the sun is on its way back from Winter Break, and it's coming in strong. Summer 2015 is expected to be one of our hottest yet, and the weather waits for no man. It may still be early in the year, but here at le Reve we urge you to take even better care of your skin than you usually would. And by this, we mean sunscreen! The powerful UV rays of the sun can not only cause an unpleasant red burn, but lead to aging of the skin, sun spots, wrinkles, and even cancer. You don't want to put your delicate skin through any of that, especially considering you'll have this skin for the rest of your life! Just because we want you to wear 

sunscreen doesn't mean we want you to lather your skin with all the oils and chemicals you can pick up at your local drugstore. Be picky with your sunscreen; choose wisely and your skin will thank you. My personal choice for sunscreen would be the Tropical Vanilla Body Sunscreen from Eminence. It has a broad-spectrum SPF of 32 and is, as always with Eminence products, 100% organic. This sunscreen is paba-free, non greasy, and contains shea butter, aloe, vanilla, and linden flower. It can act as a sunscreen, healer, and antioxidant all in one! It smells very faintly of vanilla, which is non-overwhelming and can be easily paired with any perfume or fragrance. Your skin will smell lovely, feel lovely, and most importantly, be protected.  As one of our most popular products, it can always be a little tricky to find it on the shelves.
