Celebrities using Le Reve Products!

In honor of last night's 87th Academy Awards, I thought all of our lovely readers might want to know which of the products we carry here at le Reve have been used and loved by some of our favorite celebrities. Though there have undoubtably been many more stars using the lines that we carry, these are a few who have spoken out about using the products, which products they are, and a little bit of information to let you know more about them.

Lauren Conrad, reality star and longtime resident of the Santa Barbara county, is especially fond of her Clarisonic Mia. Apart from the editorials she's written of the product on her own blog, she's been mentioned in People magazine saying:
"I use this every night with my face wash! It's great at completely removing makeup and making my skin feel fresh."
The Clarisonic Mia is an electronic skin cleansing brush that cleanses skin 6x better than hands alone. It's available in almost every color of the rainbow and a variety of different levels. For more info about Clarisonic and their various types, follow this link to a blog I wrote back in December. Lauren owns the Mia 2, but there are many others to choose from!

A clothing line we carry at le Reve is called Be Love Apparel, and they specialize in eco-friendly clothing with inspirational designs and images. Pirates of the Caribbean stud Orlando Bloom and his model ex-wife, Miranda Kerr, are both notorious for wearing Be Love. In the picture to the right of this text, he's wearing their Ghandi Be True tee in blue, and we carry it here at le Reve in brown! Bloom
also owns a brown tee with the words 'Peace Warrior' written on the front, and Kerr owns a white sweater with the quote 'Do Small Things With Great Love' written along the neckline. For more information about Be Love, take a look at this blog from December.

Of the two skincare lines we carry here, Eminence and Jurlique, both have their fair share of celebrity followers. Jena Malone, of the Hunger Games: Catching Fire, has admitted to being a huge Eminence fan. She's quoted saying:
"I…love Éminence organic products. Their Stone Crop Hydrating Mist is a lifesaver if you’re traveling. No matter where you are, just spray a little and it’s like you’re in the tropics. I also love their Strawberry Hyaluronic Serum.”
Both products are simply AMAZING, I probably couldn't choose a favorite one myself. The mist is a healing tonic meant to increase your skins' moisture levels and balance uneven skin tones. The serum is meant to firm your skin and give it a youthful glow.

Jena Malone's leading lady in the Hunger Games, Jennifer Lawrence, is known to use Jurlique products from time to time. Her makeup artist from the 2014 BAFTA awards, where she is pictured to the left, used Jurlique's Rose Silk Finishing Powder to complete her look and add matte to her T-Zone. If you're unfamiliar, the T-Zone is made up of the forehead and the bridge between your nose. Adding the finishing powder to any part of your face can create a flawless, matte cover and hide any oils you may have.
Actress Brooke Shields has admitted to using Original Sprout's detangler on her daughter Rowan's hair... and that it works! She said recently:
"Rowan is already a fan and will not let me brush her wet hair until I put on the "smooth stuff first." Because of the detangler we now don't fight about hair brushing or combing."
The detangler works like any other, the advantages being of course that it's vegan and organic. Many parents choose this as an alternative to putting harsh chemicals in their children's hair.

Of course, there are millions of people every day that use these products. Celebrity testimony doesn't necessarily mean that one thing is better than another, but when these people have all the money in the world they're going to choose the best products.
You can pick any of these up at le Reve, located at 21 W. Gutierrez St. Give us a call at (805) 564-2977 to put anything on hold before you come in :)
