Just in case anyone is unaware, February 27th is National Strawberry Day! Whether you're at home or out and about, there are many ways to implement the most delectable fruit into your plan. You could buy a pack of them from the store and serve them alone or with a little bit of sugar, or you could order a refreshing strawberry smoothie from somewhere. In honor of the holiday, I thought I'd talk to you guys about the two products from Eminence's Strawberry Rhubarb line that we carry here at le Reve: the Dermafoliant and the Serum. Both products use Strawberry, which contains salicylic acid to remove impurities, brighten the skin, and shrink its' pores. Rhubarb works as an ascorbic acid and is used to fight wrinkles. Because of this, the line is incredible for age-defying and tightening the skin.
The Strawberry Rhubarb Dermafoliant is different than anything else we carry in the store. It comes in a powder form that, when mixed with water, turns into a creamy, paste-like exfoliant. Using rice powder and lactic acids, its' primary use is to brighten your skin. Apart from the Strawberries and Rhubarb, the product contains lactic acid to brush off dead skin cells, chickpea flour to absorb excess oils, thermal mud, and oats.
The Strawberry Rhubarb Hyaluronic Serum is a product that, when used daily, will give your skin a youthful looking glow. The hyaluronic acid, from marshmallow extract, is a natural substance that smooths and replenishes the skin. The product also uses honey, aloe vera, and a plethora of natural antioxidants, vitamins, and acids.
Regardless of how incredible both of these products are for the health of your skin, I would probably buy them because they smell just SO good. We sell both of them here at le Reve, and we are open from 10-7 every day, so stop by to get a bottle of whichever one you prefer :)
