Fight off the cold this Winter!

It can be especially hard during this time of year to fight off sickness, what with the temperature dropping and germs spreading all around you. It's officially cold & flu season, and I'm seeing the signs everywhere. I've hardly had a conversation in the last few weeks that hasn't been interrupted by
a sudden coughing fit, either from me or someone I'm talking with. I don't think I've had a completely healthy day since the start of the new year. Apart from it being near impossible to stay healthy, it's gotten so hard to regain my health as well.  I've been researching some ways to get myself feeling better, and apart from all of the "get well quick" schemes out there, one thing has been repeated time and time again. Wash your hands! I already knew that washing your hands is so important to staying healthy, and I do wash my hands religiously. But what about the times that you can't wash your hands? It's finally Winter!

Good morning! 

It may have been feeling like it these last few weeks, but today is officially the start of Winter. If you're like me, this is your absolute favorite time of year. Why? The layers! I could go on forever about how nice it is to wear a tank top and a tee shirt and a sweater and a cardigan and a scarf all in one outfit, plus a beanie, some cozy leg warmers, and a pair of boots. My absolute favorite brand for sweaters is Be Love Apparel, because they have fashionable sweaters that are still just as comfortable as regular sweatshirts, if not more. The brand was started by a couple in Los Angles who wanted to raise awareness for projects aimed towards helping youth and it expanded exponentially from there.


They now have two children and work in a partnership with another small family. Each of their products has a carefully thought out design and is partially made with recycled fabric. Though their sweaters are my favorite, they also have tee shirts, leggings, sweatpants, and tanks. They also have a kids line, which is simply precious. My ideal winter outfit would be their size extra large blue sweater, with the words 'Be Love' on the front, a white knit beanie, and a pair of laced-up tall combat boots with white knit socks showing up at the top. Pants don't matter too much, but leggings or jeans would suffice. I'm not alone in my obsession with Be Love, just listen to the beautiful Victorias Secret model Miranda Kerr. She recently posted this instagram of her in one of their ultra-comfy sweaters. The words written on the sweater are 'do small things with great love.'
