My Home Spa Experience with Eminence Organics

As someone who works at Le Rêve Organic Spa and Boutique, I often find myself surrounded by the most luxurious skincare products. I'm constantly learning about the benefits of each one, and it's always exciting to share my knowledge with our lovely clients. However, with my busy schedule, I realized I needed to carve out some time for myself. So, I decided to treat myself to a mini spa day at home using some fabulous Eminence Organics products!

Step 1: Yam and Pumpkin Enzyme Peel

After cleansing, I kicked off my treatment with the Eminence Organics Yam and Pumpkin Enzyme Peel. The blend of pumpkin and yam enzymes helps to exfoliate the skin gently, leaving it feeling super smooth. As I applied it, the delicious scent of pumpkin spice put me in a cozy fall mood. After the recommended 5-10 minutes, I used a warm damp cloth to remove the product, and my skin already felt rejuvenated and ready for the next step!

Consistency is key! The easiest way to achieve this is to keep it simple. Your skin care doesn't need twelve steps just four. Cleanse, exfoliate, moisturize and protect. If you have trouble making this a habit begin your routine just at night but make sure you're putting sunblock or some kind of sun protection on in the mornings. Once you've got your night routine down start doing it in the morning as well! When you stick to  a skin care routine you'' see the most benefits.

If your looking to make your skin the healthiest it can be sticking to your routine is the fastest way to make that happen. The long-term result will have you wishing you'd done way earlier.

Keeping your skin clear and happy is a thousand time easier than making it clear and happy. Once you've dealt with all the impurities you weren't happy with don't quit there! Keep things going so it doesn't come back

• It can help build other routines 

It can be hard to build a routine up but once you've got it down it is SO rewarding. It'll boost you to work on all those other things one a time too

• Build confidence                                             

Having issues with your skin can get anyone down. Successfully clearing it up and knowing you've made a good habit for your self is an amazing confidence lift.

• Your skin will thank you!

        A good skin care routine and sticking to it is sure to leave your skin healthy and happy. Happy skin is the best skin.

5 Skin Care Tips for Back to School

The beginning of August means school is just around the corner. You can virtually hear the sad sighs of students floating in the wind. I'm a little nervous for this year but equally as excited. Today I have some back to school tips to keep you skin as healthy as can be throughout the school year.

1. Stay hydrated! Make water your best friend. H2O is so important to stay healthy is general but it's got plenty of benefits for you skin. So keep a refillable water bottle with you from class to class.

2. Exfoliated cleanse! You've spent all summer in the sun and although that tan looks great you don't want dead skin to collect and collect. A light exfoliation and daily cleansing will keep your skin fresh and beautiful even at that dreaded 8 A.M. class. And don't forget to moisturize!

3. Get a good night's sleep! All day you walk around school wishing you could go back to bed, right? So don't skimp out when your at home actually in bed. Your skin loves sleep just as much as you do.

4. Keep everything that touches your face clean! Make-up brushes are a sure way to stress your skin out if they're dirty. So can oily/dirty hair that is constantly sticking to your forehead. Clean them regularly so all you have to worry about is a quick study sash.

5. Use good products! Be cautious of what you put n your face. Just like you wouldn't want to put false information into an essay, you don''t want to put harsh chemicals onto your face.

Citrus Exfoliating Wash

Eminence Citrus Exfoliating Wash

This is a gel wash for normal-to-oily skin, the Citrus Exfoliating Wash gently exfoliates and cleanses the skin. It's made with fresh lime juice to remove impurities and grapefruit seed and silica to leave your face luminously clear.

I've been using this exfoliating wash for about a while now and my skin is loving it! I apply a tiny dollop into my hand and rub it gently into my skin in circular motions. This little bit goes along a way. I use it 2-3 times a week and with each use my skin looks better and better. 

With oily skin it's important maintain proper exfoliation techniques. If you over exfoliate, depriving the skin of all it's natural oils, it will  only cause the production of even more oil to try fix the problem. if you already have oily skin then that would be a disaster. Of course, if you don't exfoliate enough then the oils and dirt collect in you skin causing a mess of clogged pores and acne, AH! 

This face wash is a holy grail. It does it's job at cleaning the skin while not being agressively abrasive. It's refreshing rather than harsh which is difficult to find with exfoliators. So it's safe to say that this Eminence product like all the others we carry is a win and definitely gets my recommendation!

Over a short period of time I grew to love this product. I never  used to exfoliate my skin that much because it would always end up irritated after the fact, I tried this product from Jurlique and did not have that problem. The body exfoliating gel left my skin feeling refreshed, smoothed, and balanced. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. The scent and feel of this product are to die for.
