Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to the woman who made you...well...YOU!

I am Delayni, a spa coordinator at Le Reve Day Spa, and I'd like to make a special shoutout to my mom, Debbi! There are so many things in the world I constantly take for granted, and I must say something I often do not realize is that not all mothers are like mine.  As I have grown up and gained more experience, watched friends, and observed other situations, it has come to my attention that not every mother is as selfless, supportive, and caring as mine. I am growing up, I am now in college, I work here at Le Reve Day Spa but you're still my "most favorite mom" out there. I am sorry that I am going through that selfish teenager stage and may not always remember to ask about your days as much as you ask and genuinely care about mine. Thank you for always supporting my decisions even though I tend to change them about three times a week. Thank you for always being able to find the things "I swear someone stole" in my room. Thank you for countless cupcake, coffee, and PF Changs dates. Thank you for listening for every thought that pops in my head. Thank you for driving me to every volleyball practice and every early morning tournament. Thank you for reading books with me when I was little. Thank you for never pushing me in directions I did not want to go and understanding when I wanted to change my path. Thank you for calling me out of school on those days when I just couldn't stand it. Thank you for always helping me research my options. Thank you for always bringing my thoughts back down to earth. Thank you for always letting me steal your clothes. And lastly, thank you for just being my wonderful, kind and fabulous mom! I'll be home for Summer soon-I love you deeper than the sea!

This 90 minute treatment focuses primarily on working against signs of aging as well as pigmentation and hydration throughout the face neck and décolleté.

          One of the most beneficial advantages to the Age Defying Facial is the glorious Eminence Yam and Pumpkin Peel, composed of glycolic, lactic and hyaluronic acids that help fight signs of aging. The glycolic and lactic acids work together to slough off dead skin cells-retexturing and smoothing the skin’s surface. The hyaluronic acid binds water molecules to the skin, giving deep hydrating benefits. This gives a “plumping effect” therefore slightly diminishing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

         Now we can’t forget about those the smaller areas such as the orbitals and mouth, so we treat them with just the same care as the rest of the of the face. Included in the service is exfoliation and a masque of the eyes and lips. Before working at Le Reve, I valued taking care of my skin--if you can call using bar soap on your face and generic moisturizer adequate skin care. Once I started my position here, though, I was introduced to the incredible products and services that Le Reve offers and have fallen in love with them. 


In particular, I thoroughly enjoyed my Le Reve facial that I received a couple of months ago. After steaming my face to open the pores and removing the impurities, my aesthetician cleansed and moisturized my skin with Eminence's Stone Crop Gel Wash, then hydrated my skin with a series of three masques also from the Eminence line. My favorite masque out of the three was a toss-up between the Raspberry Pore Refining masque and the Chocolate Mousse Hydration masque; both smelled amazing (almost good enough to eat!) and left my skin feeling smooth and firm. 


The Le Reve facial is a great facial to receive, whether you've had a hundred or if it's your first one. I'd like to refer to it as the LBD of facials, because it's a comprehensive facial that can benefit any type of skin. Who doesn't want to be pampered with not one, but three masques? Plus, your Le Reve aesthetician will precede your facial with a skin evaluation in order to determine which products are the best for your skin type, so each facial is customized in your best interest.
