This box includes a Pedi Clarisonic, charger, wet/dry buffing brush head, pedi smoothing disc, pedi-buff, pedi-balm, and pedi-boost.

The smoothing disc is designed to soften and smooth dull, rough, or dry feet. Pedi-Boost is a powerful foot peel combined with lactic and glycol acid specifically designed to exfoliate and remove dead skin cells. Pedi-Buff is an exfoliating scrub used to remove dead skin but gentle enough to use every day. Pedi-Balm is a non-greasy balm that hydrates and protects the feet with a gentle blend of shea butter, honey, and apricot oil. Pedi wet/dry brush is great for touch ups and a thorough exfoliation.

You can get all of this for $199.00. If you are thinking this is a little pricey then think of it in terms of what it entails. You have the ability from your home to pamper your feet and slough off the dead skin instead of spending about $50 each time you get a pedicure. In the end it's a bang for your buck because you can have soft feet whenever you want, no need to wait to schedule an appointment.

Good Afternoon Santa Barbara + hello Sunshine! I would like to introduce you to the wonderful world of Barefoot Massage and let you know how it was that I became a fan.

THE RECOMMENDATION I first fell in love with this truly healing massage in 2010. After years and years of requesting Swedish Massage with Deep Tissue on my neck and shoulders, my massage therapist and dear friend recommended for me to set up a Barefoot session with her instead. I was a little apprehensive at the idea of having someone walk on me as this did not seem to be something that I could imaging feeling relaxing, but decided to follow her guidance. After all, she was very rarely wrong when it came to body work or skincare.

HOW IT WORKS  Barefoot is offered in both 90-min and 2-Hr sessions. Being a beginner to receiving this modality I opted for the 90-min. I was instructed to show up in yoga-style attire for the service. This is so you may comfortably move form position to position. In this service your massage has you lay down on a thai matt in the Barefoot Treatment room. The Barefoot Treatment Room is noticeably smaller to allow for the therapist to use the sides of the room to better leverage into muscle tension. Once on the matt your therapist places you in various positions so that they may received better access to the deeper layers of muscle tendons, ligaments, and connective tissue.

TRYING NEW THINGS  During the service, while receiving work on the shoulder area which was pretty tight, I began to feel the tension dissipate and my shoulders' range of motion increase. This increase in the range of motion is a common experience and may be why we have so many athletes request the Barefoot Massage service at Le Reve. In any case the pressure applied felt amazing. Although this service provides a deeper massage than Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, and Trigger Point it did not feel like it. The Barefoot Massage Therapy session left me feeling as if I had received an hour and a half of stretching. I left my treatment in a complete state of bliss.

If you like deep tissue and sports massage this Treatment is perfect for you. 

FOLLOWING MY BAREFOOT MASSAGE  The following day my range of motion was still increasing and I did not experience the slight soreness that can come from Deep Tissue body work. I had a renewed range of motion and flexibility. I even felt as though I was standing taller and without the discomfort that I had experienced from my muscle tension prior to my service I was also in better spirits. It is truly awesome what an amazing massage can do for the mind as well as the body. 

Barefoot massage uses deep compression and myofascial release to help ease tension and relax tight muscles. Through trigger point work we can help alleviate chronic tension and target the root of the problem relieving stress, increasing circulation, helping the healing process.

Enjoy a relaxing Mind & Body Facial!

Hello, lovely followers and Spa Enthusiasts! I recently had a birthday (yay!) and what better way to spend it than at the spa? For my special day, I chose the most elaborate facial we offer - the Mind & Body Facial - one that until then I hadn't had the privilege to enjoy. To put it simply, it was heavenly! Our esthetician that day brought me into the room, which was warm and smelt almost woodsy but floral as well, and had me lay under a set of freshly laundered sheets.  She cleansed my skin using a line of products she had determined would suit my skin type and then preceded to analyze my skin and its impurities. Based on what she saw, she left the room to gather the masks and moisturizers best for me. Throughout the facial, hot stones were placed strategically onto my seven chakras in an effort to balance and restore my mind and body. Other aspects of the facial included intense aromatherapy and a hand and foot coconut treatment. It lasted for a total of 90 minutes, and when it was over I left the room feeling more relaxed, and much more peaceful, than I had in a long time. It was the most amazing facial I have ever gotten, and I'm sure that had a lot to do with the incredibly talented esthetician, Svetlana. I would recommend it to anybody, regardless of skin type, and regardless of the fact that I work at this spa.
