May is for Makeup!

Happy May 1st everyone! The year is going by so quickly, I can't believe how close we are to Summer! Our annual Client Appreciation Day was yesterday and we had a lovely training from our La Bella Donna specialist, Jeremy, who gave us the low down on a few incredible products they're carrying. In light of the training and Jeremy's visit, we'll be highlighting a few of our favorite La Bella Donna products for the entire month of May and they will be on sale for 15% off. These products are the Minerals On-The-Go, the Baci Baci lip gloss in Majestic and Incredibly Beautiful, the Artful Lips Compact Colour, the Lip Palette Compact Colour in Vanity, the Crème Fresh Mineral Blush Compact Colour in the Garnet Collection, and the Eyeshadow Compact Colour in Blackberry.
La Bella Donna's Minerals On-The-Go is essentially an extension of their Loose Minerale Foundation. They have the same four ingredients - Iron, Titanium, Bismuth, and Zinc - and that's it! With an SPF of 20, the benefits f this travel-sized container as opposed to the at-home minerals is that you can apply it wherever and whenever! I keep mine in my purse for when I find myself at the beach, or when I'm driving and I can feel the left side of my face getting burnt. Because it's all mineral, you don't have to worry about the product sinking into your skin. It will stay on until you wash it off, and is even waterproof!
My absolute favorite lip color from La Bella Donna is their Baci Baci line, which is a gloss. This month, we are highlighting TWO of their colors - Majestic and Incredibly Beautiful.  Majestic is a sort of dark purple, but looks a little more burgundy once applied. I perforate wear it at night, and I feel like it gives me a very powerful, don't-mess-with-her look. Incredibly Beautiful, is exactly what it's called - incredibly beautiful! It's pink with a bit of a peachy look to it, and it's my absolute favorite color to wear at the beach!
The Artful Lips Compact Colour and the Lip Palette Compact Colour in Vanity are both sets of four different cream-based colors for your lips. Both of them have a pinkish theme to them but are wildly different. They can be seen in the two containers on the right in the picture below!
One of my go-to products for finishing off my face is the Crème Fresh Mineral Blush Compact Colour in the Garnet Collection. Essentially, it's a set of three different blushes. To me, it's SO much more than that. I use them on my lips, on my eyes, and my cheeks. And it always looks good! These can be seen on the left in the picture below.
The last product that we have highlighted for the rest of the month is the Eyeshadow Compact Colour in Blackberry. It's a set of four eyeshadows in varying shades of purple, and when used all together make a gorgeous smokey eye. For the most part, I would use these shadows at night. However, I can also see them being totally perfect on a hot summer day with maybe a purple sun dress. Eyeshadows are meant for taking risks, so there's no reason to limit this to the night!
