Sunday

Good afternoon Spa Lovers :)

Can you believe the weather we've been having here in Santa Barbara? And it's only March. If you're anything at all like me, and I have a feeling this happens to nearly everyone, spending this much time in or even around the sun can leave your lips dry and cracked and a little bit painful. The lips are the most sensitive part of your skin, and are so easily affected by weather extremes. When it's cold and bitter out, your lips crack, and when it's hot and dry out, your lips will still crack. It's important during these major heat
waves that you treat your lips just as well or even better than the rest of your skin, after all who wants to walk around with white, peeling lips? I know I don't. I came in to work today with some of the worst chapped-lips of my life, and that's saying something, and I ran straight to our tester of Jurlique's Love Balm. The balm is soft and creamy,
and comes in two scents: tangerine and rose. The original one, just called Love Balm, is tangerine, while the other variety carries the title of Love Balm Rose, so you don't get confused. They both contain vital ingredients to keeping your skin extra hydrated such as Olive Fruit Oil, Safflower Seed Oil, Soybean Oil, and a variety of floral extracts. The main difference between the two is the scent, and choosing one over the other does not effect how well it treats your lips. I felt instantly relieved upon using the balm today, and even two hours later I am still feeling the hydration in my lips. There are many chapsticks and lip balms that have to be applied constantly, and this is not one of those. A good, solid layer of this lip balm will work on your lips long after you've stopped feeling it! The balm is also an incredible healing tool for your elbows, cuticles, or any patch of skin that might be feeling chafed or irritated. We sell the balm for only $12 each here at le Reve, so come on by and pick up your own! They are perfect to just carry around in your purse and use when needed and can also be great, cost-effective gifts!

XOXO
