The Classic Smokey Eye

Today's how-to is the classic smokey eye. But as you can see below these looks are a bit more dramatic but fierce!

What you need is a basic smokey palette. You should have a nude color, a little shimmer is ok and can act as a highlighter. A Taupe, a dark Brown and of course Black or dark Gray.

Start by applying your Nude shade from lid to underneath the brows. You may also use a highlighter under the arch as well. Once you are done with highlighter, apply a medium sized line of eyeliner along the top lash line. Smudge it up towards the crease a bit.

Next, apply your Taupe color along the crease, trying to not reach the brow. Then use your dark Brown shade and apply to outer corner/crease, blending well. 

Lastly apply your darkest shade starting at the lash line up to the crease and blend. Shadows can have a lot of fallout so with darker shades, make sure to tap off the excess and pat onto the lid. That's it!

You can finish the brows or add some glitter or even wing out the line for a cat-eye effect. Add a few coats of mascara or falsies and you have the classic smokey eye.
