Happy Monday. Today starts off a new week
and a fresh start for us all. We all know what a key role diet plays in our
body’s health, but it also is an important factor in having healthy, radiant
skin. Incorporating particular foods into your lifestyle can have many
beneficial results, and taste amazing as well!
* Pumpkin is a must have for both healthy
hair & skin. Pumpkin is incredibly rich in Vitamin A, it also helps to
protect your skin from free radicals that could cause problem areas on your
skin such as uneven skin tones, wrinkles, or irritation. Pumpkin also contains
zinc & copper minerals, which can help diminish the appearance of acne and the
marks it leaves behind. Whether it is in soup, or being scooped out while your
carvings your Halloween friend, pumpkin is a fall must have food for all.
* Like
Pumpkin. Its orange friend the sweet potato is full of essential vitamins A,C,
and E. It also contains antioxidants to keep skin looking fresh and gleaming.
Vitamin E is also a key part of maintaining healthy, shiny hair. Add them to
your lunch or dinner; you wont regret it.
*Beets
provide your skin with a natural detoxification which can be increasingly
beneficial for those looking to clear skin blemishes. Beets also help to keep
cells stimulated for reproduction, and gives skin a soft luminous glow. Beets
are great to add to salads, or as a garnish during any meal.
Cranberries are antioxidant wonder berries. These berries not only help
cleanse your inner body, they also play key roles in helping those with acne
problems, as well as skin disorders such as eczema. They are a wonder food for
women and a must have during your holiday festivities!
*Avocados are one of your body’s best
friends. These green gods are full of essential vitamins (Vitamin A,C,E &
K) and healthy monounsaturated fats. They provide protection for your inner and
outer body from free radicals, but also help to boost a healthy immune system. They
also make a great fresh garnishment to any meal!
* Pomegranates, blueberries, &
strawberries are full of skin favorite antioxidants. These juicy fruits tend to
be main ingredients in some of our favorite beauty products because they leave
skin feeling rejuvenated, moisturized, and leaving wrinkles looking much softer
and finer (which is every girls desire).
*Broccoli & kale are skin super
foods! These vibrant greens are food staples; their in our dinners and salads,
and even being blended into our juices. They are packed with strong
antioxidants to help add luminosity to the skin, while their mineral
ingredients help to repair damage and promote regularity amongst skin cells.
*Tomatoes are skins plump red friends; full
of Vitamin C, and helping to keep your skin looking firm and tight. They help
your body in producing collagen, while also giving skin its blush alive look.
Tomatoes are being added and used amongst some of our favorite skin care
products, and they taste delicious too!
Whether on their own, or as a part of
your meal, these wonderful foods will help to benefit your beauty regimen while
being tasty snacks as well. Take the time to add them into your meal plan this week;
you will love the difference they make.
Wishing you a healthy and amazing work
week.
Best,
