Let's discuss extractions during a facial

For many Estheticians, extractions play a starring role in a skin-care treatment, with steaming, cleansing, and exfoliating all playing skin-care backup. We believe pores, blackheads, and a variety of small pimples that otherwise fester impede the health of the skin, as well as radiance and clarity.
The brass ring is clear skin. But most of us are dotted with blocked pores and bumps that we can’t fully clean ourselves—or we shouldn’t. Estheticians don't like clients doing it themselves. You need to know what to look for, what not to touch, and apply the right pressure. Estheticians know what to look for.
A good Esthetician will never send someone out the treatment room blotchy.  At Le Reve, we prep the skin with steam and enzymatic (clay-based or mineral)  masks to loosen the pores first, then use healing and calming methods like skin-care masks that bring down redness and soothe just-poked pores. You should walk out with glowing skin, and none the wiser that you've had extractions. It’s a test of your Esthetician's skill I say.

All of our facials feature extractions (as needed of course). Our Deep Clarifying Facial is most popular with clients who are interested in focusing on blackhead removal or acne issues. You may opt for no extractions if you do not want them or if you do and it's too painful, speak up! We wont be offended. Everyone's pain tolerance is different and we completely understand if you wish not to continue. Besides, you came in to relax, right?. Like mentioned before, we use products that draw out impurities within the skin and can recommend products for you to use at home to help as well. Call to book a facial with me and together, we'll put your best skin forward! :)

Have a fabulous weekend!
xxAshley, Esthetician with Le Reve Spa Organic and Boutique.
