Putting Skincare in the Fridge??

How are you managing in this heat, Santa Barbara? I will let you in on a little tip on how to stay cool during your summer skin care routine? I put my masques and moisturizers  in the fridge. Yep, you heard me. I store it in the butter section, and the concerned look on my housemate's face was priceless. "Are you putting cream cheese on your face??" I laughed and showed them the Coconut Age Corrective Moisturizer.

I think putting your skincare in the fridge is a wonderful idea for the the summer time because it helps your organic moisturizer stay cool and preserved.

I noticed that when I put my face masque in the fridge, that it was almost appetizing. The Clear Skin Probiotic Masque already looks like yummy dip for your chip, but now that it's cold makes it almost impossible to resist. There is just something about the the texture and feel that makes the application just so much better.

One of the best products, in my opinion, to put in the fridge is eye creams. Who doesn't want to stay out late with friends during the summer? The morning after can be a bit brutal if you haven't gotten a decent sleep. Cold temperatures around the eyes are good for relieving puffiness. So, on those days where you are feeling like a droned zombie, a pea sized amount of the Wild Plum Eye Cream will do the trick to reduce the look of dark circles around the eyes.

You really can have it all during the summer! Do you have any cool skincare tips that you practice?  On your next visit to Le Reve, we would love to hear all about it!

Warmly,
 Spa Coordinator, Rose
