Are you ready for Valentine's day? Today I thought I would give you all my personal recommendation on what I would love to receive this Valentine's day and perhaps you would too! The product I will be talking about today is the amazing roll on rose perfume by Jurlique. This perfume is unlike any other in that it contains a pure rose essence which was hand collected by Jurlique! "Capturing the essence of 10,000 rose petals is no easy feat. At Jurlique, we went to the ends of the earth – literally! – to find the perfect mix of species of roses to create our new fragrance, JurliqueEssence of Rose Roll-On Fragrance Oil.

This signature scent – an alluringly feminine, modern floral – captures the very heart of the world’s finest rose oils, with a quartet of precious Middle Eastern and European species providing the fragrant notes. The Turkish Rose, also known as Rosa Damascena or Rose Anatolia, comes from the Persian region dating back to the ninth century. This particular breed of rose imparts the sweet, rich and lemony top notes of our fragrance. It takes up to four tons of rose blossoms to make one kilogram, or 35 ounces, of precious oil, which is extracted from the fresh flowers, picked very early in the morning in the morning, by steam distillation.

Moroccan Rose, known as Rosa Centifolia Flower Extract or, more commonly, “Cabbage Rose,” is an exceedingly aromatic species, with a plethora of petals that resembles the plant from which it derives its nickname. A popular skincare ingredient, its scent and therapeutic properties are widely valued.

Arabic Rose, also recognized as the “Rose Wardia,” is found throughout the Middle East and Morocco. It gives our fragrance the more sophisticated scent notes that impart the aromatic warmth experienced on its dry-down.

And finally, Rosa Gallica is a species of rose native to southern and central Europe. This precious extract is derived from flowers harvested from Jurlique’s own rose garden and is used to soften, balance and restore the skin.
