Spa-goers Guide to Pampering Yourself!

Happy Monday everyone,
I'm hoping you all had a lovely weekend enjoying the summer sun!
Since it is always the season to pamper yourself and the trend of spa-ing never dies out, I thought it would be fun and useful to make a guide for new spa-goers or for those who haven't indulged in a while.

The Basics:
v Arrive on time. If I could give only one suggestion to our clients, I would suggest arriving on time, better yet about 15 minutes early! This gives you the chance to unwind, enjoy some water or tea, and fill out paperwork before your service begins—without being frazzled! After all, the purpose of a spa experience is to be relaxed isn’t it?!
v Always take a look at the entire menu.. many spas have hidden treatments that don’t get enough attention but make all the difference in your service!
v Make sure to be aware of the cancellation policy.  Le Reve has a 24 hour cancellation policy, so if for any reason you need to cancel your appointment, please do so before that time frame to ensure that you are not charged 50% of the services booked
v We always how appreciation to our service providers and those who help heal us. It is customary to leave 20 – 25 percent gratuity during check out, and is always preferred in cash. If multiple services are booked, be sure to leave gratuity for each service provider!

During your Service:
v Don’t hesitate to voice any questions or concerns about your treatment—whether it is the length, the process, or even the products and pressure used during your service! Let the front desk know if you have a preference to a male or female service provider.
v Typically, the service provider is ready to follow your lead; you can choose to spend the duration of the treatment talking, or not! It’s up to you!
v Le Reve uses hard wax (waxing without the pain of strips) for the brow and bikini area, which is heated to a lower temperature that soft wax. We are consistently conscious of keeping a sanitary environment and make sure to never double dip! We provide disposable underwear to accommodate any comfort level, and recommend ¼ of an inch of outgrowth for the bikini area to ensure a smoother wax!

What Not to Bring:
    v Robes
    v Sandals
    v Towels
    v Wraps
v There’s no need to come with any of these things as our spa graciously provides our clients with everything they need to experience to most serene services.

Reminders:
v Please be sure to remember that pampering yourself is supposed to be a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Don’t forget to silence your phone, tone down your voice, leave your worries at the door, and enter our spa with a calm energy.
v Don’t forget, this is a tranquil atmosphere, even our spa coordinators would appreciate you to stay patient, peaceful and serene throughout your entire experience here—they will do the best the can to accommodate all your needs!
v You have the freedom to undress to your comfort level, as our massage therapists are trained to use the upmost professional etiquette and will happily go over any questions you have regarding this!
v Communication is the key to a relaxing and enjoyable experience.  Please provide the front desk with any allergies, sensitivities, bone or muscle injuries, and/or pregnancy!
v Lastly, and most importantly, BOOK AHEAD! Nobody has ever regretted booking his or her appointment in advance- by phone or online booking! This will ensure that all of your wants, needs, and preferences can be accommodated for!

I hope this information was insightful and helpful!!
