Eyelash Extensions

Eyelash Extensions at Le Reve!
Eyelash extensions are a wonderful alternative to mascara. To achieve a glamorous or natural look, eyelash extensions are individually selected for your natural eyelash. The application is an hour and a half to two hour process of applying as many individual extensions to your natural lashes. Medical grade Adhesive is used to attached the lash extension.

For the first 24 hours avoid:

  • water or steam near your eyes
  • wearing eye make-up
  • touching or rubbing eyes
After 24 hours avoid:

  • all waterproof eye make-up product
  • pulling, playing with, rubbing, picking at your lashes
  • extensive steam or sauna which can shorten the duration of your extensions
  • products with oil
Maintenance:

  • if you feel the need to wear mascara only apply to the tips
  • gently cleanse your lashes with an oil free cleanser or baby shampoo
  • touch ups are needed every 2 to 3 weeks
  • sleep on your back if possible to avoid any rubbing throughout the night
Your eyelashes will be able to move, grow, and shed just as they did prior to the extension. When your natural lash sheds so will your extension that is attach to it. This will be more noticeable then before simply because the extension is darker and thicker than your natural lash. We typically shed 1 to 5 eyelashes per day, the same happens when you have extensions applied to them.

How quickly your eyelashes grow and shed. How you maintain and care for your lashes.
The amount of make-up your wear daily all factor into the timing and how soon you will need  touch-ups.

Prior to your appointment please come with clean make-up free fresh eyes. It is not recommended that you consume a large amount of caffeine, as it may inhibit your eyes from staying still through the procedure. If you wear contact lens please remove them prior to your service as it may cause minor irritation.

I look forward to seeing you soon to enhance your beautiful eyes!
