I hope you all had a wonderful and safe weekend enjoying the wonderful summer solstice activities! Today I wanted to talk to you all about some of the beautiful jewelry we have available for sale in our boutique! I personally am a huge fan of jewelry, and believe it is one of those things that a girl can never have enough of. In doing some decor reorganizing I was once again reminded of how many beautiful pieces we have for sale. My personal favorite is a neckless with a Hamsa pendent hanging from it. This beautiful piece is simple and elegant and is the perfect accessory to wear for any event! For those of you who are not familiar with the Hamsa this is a symbol comes from the middle east and is believed to offer protection to who ever wears it. It has also been associated with protecting those who hold it from misfortune and evil. This symbol is often attributed to several different religions, however researchers suggest that this sign has been around for centuries and pre-dates almost all religions. This beautiful neckless encompasses all the above noted ideas but is also thought to bring happiness, luck, health and good fortune to whoever wears it. Not only do I personally love the significance of this symbol but I also find comfort in the ideas this pendent signifies. Another one of my personal favorite pieces that we currently have in the boutique is a beautiful oxidized silver filagree owl. As many of you probably already know the owl is a symbol of wisdom and this delicate silver wire pendent is a nice way to remind oneself that life is a constant learning process, and we gain wisdom for our life experiences, may those be good or bad.
