My basic recommendations:
-use a make-up remover that is safe around the eyes
-if you have a Clarisonic, you can gently move the brush head into the eye area and this will remove any dirt, sweat, or products left in the eye area
-if you do not own a Clarisonic, look into purchasing one-they are a great investment, gently cleanse your face and if you must cleanse your eye area in circular motions rather than up and down
-use a eye cream or gel at least once a day
In applying a great eye cream at night your eyes can rest with no irritation on them
My eye care regime:
-Eminence's Eye Make-up remover, this light water based formula is pH balanced and has lavender, calendula, chamomile, and green tea extract to disinfect, soothe, calm, and awaken the eye area.
-Wash my face with my Clarisonic I am currently using Jurlique's Rose Moisture Plus Cleanser and the Purely Bright Cleanser. Both of these cleansers are hydrating with good oils such as rose hip oil and pumice for an exfoliating effect as well as willow bark to increase cell turnover rate
-In the morning I use Jurlique's Herbal Recovery Eye Cream or Gel and in the evening I use Eminence's Neroli Age Corrective Eye Serum
-Also, whenever I am in the sun I dot sunscreen around my eye areas to avoid sunspots and intense wrinkles
