Anti Aging Skincare

Anti Aging Skincare

One of the main concerns I hear from women as an esthetician is that of aging skin. Fine lines, sunspots, and wrinkles. Women of all ages want to know how to prevent, minimize, and reverse signs of aging. It is much easier to prevent premature aging from the elements and maintain healthy youthful skin but it is never to late to increase the health and appearance of the skin! For maintenance protection from the elements is so important. Sun protection and a good moisturizer to act as a barrier against the elements and prevent weathered skin. Antioxidants are both topically and in our diets are amazing to boost immunity and help fight free radicals from exposure to sun and pollutants. A good home care regime with active, potent skincare and sun protection, a healthy diet full of antioxidants  and protection from the elements using SPF, and covering up under the sun will maintain youthful healthy skin. For those wanting to reverse the signs of aging these steps will also be important as well as incorporating enzymes or glycolics and natural plant based retinols. This will help even out and brighten skin tone, minimize lines, refine pores, and increase cell turnover creating more youthful skin! Routine facials are also great to give skin a boost and provide active, result based treatments.  One of my favorite combinations of skincare for anti aging are Jurlique's Fruit Enzyme Exfoliant followed by their Purely Age Defying eye cream, serum, and moisturizer with SPF. This powerful combo works in synergy to exfoliate and resurface allowing the active ingredients of the the Purely Age Defying products to penetrate, replenish and, nourish the skin! The purely age defying line contains blue algae extract and natural plant retinols to help resurface and increase skin cell production. The antioxidants help to nourish and protect from environmental stresses. This skin care regime will help maintain and reduce the signs of aging and will leave your skin nourished and supple!
