At Le Reve we offer a better and SAFER solution. Sunless tanning can give your skin a tanned look without exposing it to harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays. The active ingredient in most sunless tanning products is dihydroxyacetone (DHA). When applied to the skin, DHA reacts with dead cells in the outermost layer of skin to temporarily darken the skin's appearance. The coloring doesn't wash off, but it gradually fades as the dead skin cells slough off — typically within 7-10 days.
Le Reve uses the color Forever Bronze, which is anti-aging. It's a revolutionary new airbrush solution like no other. It is the only solution with Tru-Color Technology™, a more refine DHA and erythulose solution which accents a person's natural skin tones for a beautiful, natural looking spray tan. Forever Bronze is loaded with advanced tan extending moisturizers like hemp and jojoba oil. These moisturizers are then "sealed" into your skin with silicon emulsion. This extreme skin hydration procedure slows the skins exfoliating process, thus giving you an extremely long lasting tan. You'll also love how silky smooth your skin will feel. It is a little thicker than other airbrush solutions, making it easier to apply, with less chance of it beading or dripping and dries super fast. Forever Bronze comes in a pleasant lemon grass unisex scent and has virtually no DHA smell, which is associated with other spray tan solutions.
If you're one to always be in the tanning bed or are keen to sun-bathing, I'm here to inform you the dangers of doing so. Did you know that when exposed to UV light of tanning beds or the sun, the skin manufactures pigment to save itself from burns? But excessive UV light can lead to serious problems. Besides damaging the eyes, it can also cause early wrinkling, blistering and rashes. Many experts are of the view that the UV radiation from both tanning beds and sun-exposure can cause melanoma, a form of skin cancer. Over time, this exposure can be lethal for the body.
*No matter what you do, always wear a sunscreen of at least a 30.
If you choose Le Reve for your summer glow, we do ask that you exfoliate 24 hours prior to your sunless tan, wear loose fitting clothing and to prepare to not workout or shower 12-24 hours after your tan for the best results.
