Rejuvenating and Replenishing Winter Skin
Our skin tends to suffer in winter months . The air is dryer and colder causing flaky, dehydrated, dull skin. To rebalance skin this time of year it is important to exfoliate and slough off the dry surface skin . This helps new skin cells rejuvenate and allows our moisturizers to penetrate instead of merely sitting on the surface. Once the skin is exfoliated it is primed to absorb key nutrients and antioxidants. This is the perfect time to apply an active moisturizer or conditioning body oil to nourish and protect the skin.
A body wrap is a great way to rebalance skin as seasons change. These include invigorating exfoliants, replenishing and detoxifying body masks, and soothing body oils. These renewing treatments increase moisture, rejuvenate, and detoxify, rebalancing the skin from inside out!
To treat and balance our skin at home an active body scrub such as "Jurlique's Body Exfoliating Gel" can be used a few times a week in the shower to relieve dryness, smooth, and brighten skin. It contains two types of exfoliants Lactic Acid and ground walnut do dissolve dry surface skin and soften. Follow with one of Eminence's organic moisturizers such as the soothing, healing "Stone Crop Lotion" or my personal favorite "Apricot Body Oil" which smells delicious and replenishes the skin!
