This month, I’ll share a simple but fabulous recipe for a strawberry milk that is sure to please everyone on your guest list. Take advantage of strawberry season and prepare this sweet and delicious beverage. It is cooling, nourishing and refreshing for the summer season.
Strawberry Milk
Ingredients:
2 cups organic 2% or skim milk
7-9 medium sized organic strawberries
1 tsp agave nectar or more if you prefer it sweeter
¾ tsp pure vanilla extract
½ tsp cinammon powder
Preparation:
Wash and remove the stems of the strawberries. Cut them in half and place all the ingredients in a blender and liquefy till smooth. Serve in glasses with ice cubes and for a garnish, place a mint sprig or a rose petal and enjoy!
Note:
This beverage must be consumed right away. The fruit will get slimy and stale a few hours later.
