Hey guys! Because of our wonderful client Shannon Brooks we had the opportunity to set up a photo shoot here at Le Reve for our next Miss Universe Japan. For all of you who have no idea who she is her name is Ms. Emiri Miyasaka (MUJ Finalist). Emiri Miyasaka is currently leading in Inés Ligron's board in MUJtv.com. She is 24 years old Emiri stands 5'7.5". If she wins Miss Universe Japan 2009 on May 11, she will represent Japan in Miss Universe 2009. It was so exciting and nerve wrecking to have so many people in our quaint little spa :) Her entourage was great, from the photographers to the traveling agents.
Emiri experienced Ide's expert hands during the Blueberry Body Slimming Wrap demonstration. She was very humble and of course gorgeous! We all know that is a great combination for Miss Universe. Some purchased Jurlique and some purchased Barefoot Dreams items. They were very excited (so was I) to have the opportunity to work at Le Reve for their shoot. We wish them all the best!
And thank you Shannon for setting it all up!

Hello~
Comment on the blog - I was in your spa the same day as the Japanese girl for Miss Universe and she was beautiful and the spa felt busy. That's good press for you guys! Love all the organic products...

So, my name is Jami Gina Olsen, (805.451.8504) and Le Reve is definately my favorite spa in Santa Barbara.
I am currently Directing The Granada Teen Theatre Project (granadasb.org) and the 10 teens are writing and acting in a play called Bento. The story is about a family going through divorce, and interwoven throughout this are fast paced stylized circus side show themes and Japanese art of Bento. (we are still writing and developing the hour long piece) We plan to have an open rehearsal by invitation at the Granada on May 19th at 6:00 pm. If you are interested, I can arrange an invitation for you.
My thoughts on Miss Universe Japan Photo Shoot at Le-Reve were happy that you would host such an event, what a great experience for everyone involved I find Japanese culture in general is very "on their games" and I see that too at Le-Reve. Your spa is beautiful, harmonious and pristine and staff friendly and professional. The gathering of two great entities must have created some nice moments and awe-inspiring atmosphere.
I especially appreciated that you mentioned Miss Universe was humble as well as gorgeous! That is an important theme in our play, and my work with Teens, that beauty stems from the inside, love and consideration for others then blossoms outward. Thank goodness We have Le-Reve to rest and repose and bring out our best.
thanks for outstanding servi ce,
jami gina olsen
