Donate Or Join Our Team For Relay For Life!

One in three people will be diagnosed with cancer during their lifetime. The American Cancer Society Relay For Life® unites communities across the country each year to celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against a disease that takes too much.

This year marks the beginning of our celebration of 25 years of Relay For Life®. Won’t you join Le Reve this year and be a part of Relay? Help us mark this milestone and celebrate the successes we’ve achieved together during the last 25 years.
Your involvement with the American Cancer Society Relay For Life is essential to supporting our mission to eliminate cancer as a major health issue. The American Cancer Society fights cancer on four fronts: research, education, advocacy, and service.

This year The Relay For Life will be held on May 2nd-3rd at Bishop Diego High School. Team Le Reve will be raising awareness with games and prizes. We need your support! We hope you will join our team or make a donation to help us reach our goal. Since January 1st we have raised over $1000 that will go towards finding a cure for cancer. Our goal is to surpass $2000 by May 2nd. Anything you can do to support us will help!

Why am I am not surprised that you wonderful people will be walking the Relay for Life? You made my life so much better when I was battling cancer and am happy to share that I am in complete remission. I applaud you and your staff for being present at this event and continuing to help your clients with your "Angels List". You truly are angels!

I'll confess that when I first walked into La Reve, I didn't get the connection between "spa" and "healing", between beauty and cancer. Then I got cancer. It took just one treatment at La Reve for the light to dawn. I don't think there was one cell in my body that did not respond to Maya's healing hands. I don't know if there are other spas so dedicated to the elimination of cancer from our lives, but I know none could be as passionate and generous about it. My treatments were given to me, a gift of the Fairy Godmother who owns La Reve and an anonymous donor. To know that one is cared for, treasured, in this way and by "perfect" strangers is to understand in some deep way the human connection that binds us all in love so great we do not even understand it. One year later, I am still free of cancer and continuing to tell my story.

Hello Le Reve!
I was at your spa for a girls day out back in December and had such a wonderful time! Not only were the services relaxing and indulgent, the atmosphere that the spa provided lent itself so warmly to our reunion. My girlfriends both live out of town and seeing them is always a blessing but being able to share the that experience at Le Reve was truly memorable.

As per commenting on one of your blogs I have to say that reading of your participation in Rely for Life was very much a sign in my life right in this moment. My husband and I just found out that his mother, my loving mother-in-law who is a one time breast cancer survivor already, is about to fight for her life again. Her cancer has come back and spread to two other organs. Keeping life moving as normal has proved an overwhelming task. Where my husband is finishing his teaching credential as he teaches elementary school during the day, and me about to leave a three year job to a new one, as well as the small details of life that keep coming up are moving to the back burner as we figure out how we are supposed to live with this news. I wish mostly that I could take away all the pain and worry and confusion that my husband is feeling to give him a moment of relief and rest.

Our mother is amazing! She continues to dote on us and reassure us that things will work out; she has been an inspiration to me since I met her simply because of her independent sprit, and she continues to amaze me as she makes plans to live each day to the fullest!

I just want to thank you for bringing this program to my attention because in our feeling of helplessness, participating in this program in some way might give us a chance to feel fulfilled.

Hi! The relay sounds wonderful, but just want to remind you that thoughts make things, and our words are prayers. Statistics like "One out of three people will be diagnosed with C in their lifetime" just keeps creating that.
If one must quote statistics, why not focus on two out of three people will NEVER be diagnosed with it!!
My parents both died of it, and I not only eat raw vegan, do yoga, and take good care of myself, I do not ever give my power away to statistics, or "experts".
We are powerful creators, and our cells hear every word we say!
Lots of love & light!
